This is advanced professional development for coaches, therapists, psychologists and space holders who work with highly sensitive people and want to bring a trauma-informed lens to that work. It assumes you already have a practice, and builds on it.
This training teaches a trauma-informed approach, which means recognising trauma rather than treating or fixing it. You will learn to work within clear professional boundaries, to notice what is beyond your scope, and to know when and how to refer.
Highly sensitive people have more responsive nervous systems, which can make them more prone to trauma symptoms and means their systems need more careful attunement. That intersection is what this course exists to address.
The course carries 40 hours of continuous professional development recognised through the Association for Coaching, with certification of those hours on completion.
Taking this course provides you with 40 hours of continuous professional development through the Association for Coaching, and at the end of the course you will receive certification of those CPD hours. Alongside this, if you take this course in addition to the HSP Coaching Course, you are entitled to apply for IACTM Accredited Trauma-Informed Practitioner Certification.
Around 4 to 5 hours a week, entirely online, with everything recorded so you can work through it at whatever pace your own life allows.

Weekly modules with downloadable workbooks, lessons and practical tools you can bring into sessions straight away.
An interactive space to think alongside other professionals working with the same questions, rather than working it out alone.
Each module builds on the last, moving from what trauma is through to post-traumatic growth and the wounds carried across generations.
A cultivated trauma-informed practice that honours the particular experience of highly sensitive clients, and the credentials to say so.
Certification as Trauma-Informed Coaching for HSP: Advanced Professional Certificate, showing 40 hours of professional development.
The opportunity to apply for accreditation as a Trauma-Informed Practitioner through IACTM, when taken alongside the HSP Coach Training.
A badge for your website, social media and business materials showing your CPD hours and your trauma-informed training.
Resources and practices you can bring into your coaching and professional work immediately, rather than theory to file away.
Jules is an accredited transpersonal coach, trainer and experienced educator, and the founder of the Highly Sensitive Human Academy. She is a leading voice in the field of high sensitivity, helping sensitive people navigate emotional overwhelm and align with their own purpose.
Her interest is in embracing the full spectrum of our emotional and sensory capacities rather than trying to fix ourselves. Her writing has featured in SAND and Highly Sensitive Refuge, and she has been a guest on the Sensitive SEO, Quiet and Strong and Healthy Sensitive podcasts.
Simone is a certified HSP Coach, Integrative Psychotherapist, facilitator, author and yoga and meditation teacher, and the founder of her own private practice offering one-to-one psychotherapy for adults.

“It was really a wonderful and enriching experience to join the Highly Sensitive Human Academy. Having a community to share and understand sensitivity further made a huge difference in my own practice. The content is deep, well organised and Jules is a wonderful teacher.

Mansi G Coach training
“Jules has developed a fantastic course, covering so many modules which hugely resonated with me as an HSP, from learning about the trait itself to a framework for coaching, internal family systems and parts work, the shadow and self-compassion.

You need previous experience or qualifications as a coach, psychologist, therapist, counsellor or other space holder. This course does not qualify you as a coach in itself. It offers ongoing professional development and 40 hours of CPD recognised through the Association for Coaching. With your existing qualifications, you can then apply to be listed as a trauma-informed practitioner through IACTM.
It is recommended that you complete the Professional Certificate in Coaching HSP first. If you are already a professional coach, therapist or psychologist you may enrol directly, though you will need a good understanding of the highly sensitive person to be accepted onto the training.
Around 4 to 5 hours a week for the reading materials and your own practice, coming to 40 hours of professional development in total. There are also 7 workshops, which are recorded if you cannot attend live.
Yes. All sessions and content are online, made up of pre-recorded materials, lessons and workshops you can watch any time, and you keep access when the course finishes.
Spaces are limited to 15 to 20 people. The group is deliberately small because of the personal nature of this training, so that everyone receives the care and attention they need. Group supervision continues after the training ends.
